My June mule in 118 Limited Edition with only 30 made worldwide was a shoe I designed for my wife. The Queen Bee is the most important bee in the hive and without her there would be no colonies, workers, honey etc. Our company would not run and grow without my wife.
This silhouette and the lines remind me of her in many ways. Her style is incredible and free spirited and this shoe fits her to the T.
June started as a passion project from an improperly cut grayish/blue shade of Lena that we did not like. I decided to cut off the ankle strap to create a mule silhouette and deepen the vamp to add more curvature to the design. I tested this style on my wife as she was washing dishes and she loved the idea. She didn't notice but the color matched the outfit she was wearing at the time and the style transformed the moment she slipped it onto her foot. She's my muse for everything I design so it was fitting that we named it after her.
We did a small production run on these with 2 different heel heights.
